Skyrunning race. 1000 D+ between the resort of Saint François Longchamp and the emblematic summit of the Cheval noir.. .

Come and challenge the slopes of the fearsome stallion! Entry: You'll set off from the Saint François Longchamp station. The first slopes are fairly gentle (we've thought of all those who don't warm up enough). Of course, this won't last. You'll enjoy the wide open spaces, crossing the alpine pastures to the sublime Lac Blanc...
Le Plat: where the expression "dré dans le pentu" takes on its full meaning! Climb the scree slope leading to the Col du Cheval Noir. If you turn around at this point, you'll have a breathtaking view of the Saint François Longchamp resort, the Col de la Madeleine and the Lauzière chain. (You'll also get to see your successors suffer martyrdom).
Dessert: After crossing the pass, you'll be granted a slight "flat", or rather false flat. But it's not over yet! Then it's on to the Dantesque last 300 meters of d+ to Le Cheval! Alongside the KV, we're offering a race for kids.
We look forward to seeing you at 10:30 in front of the Maison du Tourisme! Free race, in the center of the resort. Registration on site. The race is open to children aged 6 and over. No medical certificate required. Meals included and massage extra.

Location
The Maison du Tourisme esplanade is the area situated in front of the Maison du Tourisme building.
In winter, this area is not accessible by car and become the area called "Snow front".
ACCESS :
Highway A43 Exit n°26 "la chambre" (12kms only from the resort)
ROAD :
National road between Chambery and Modane.
Direction : La Chambre, then SFL/Col de la Madeleine.
Caution, Madeleine pass is closed during winter
TRAIN :
High speed train from Paris.
Station : Saint avre La chambre (12 km).
BUS :
Regular ride between the railway station in La chambre and SFL. Faure Savoie : +33 820 205 330

AIRPLANE :
International airports of Geneva cointrin (170kms),
Lyon St exupery (165 kms) and Chambery Aix les Bains (90kms).
Shuttle from Grenoble, Lyon and Chambery can be booked online.
Caution, those shuttles circulate on Saturdays only.
