Goupy’s tips, the resort’s mascot, for a safe holiday:
- You should follow a few “rules” before heading to the mountains:
• Check the weather forecast, as conditions can change very quickly in the mountains.
• Have a good breakfast and bring a small snack with you.
• The mountain sun is very strong — remember to apply high-protection sunscreen regularly.
• Drink water frequently to stay well hydrated.
• Respect other skiers on the slopes.
• Keep warm by wearing several layers of clothing.
- Make sure you have the right equipment for skiing! Snow boots, warm clothing, gloves, ski goggles, and a helmet are essential.
- The mountains are a fragile environment. Never throw your litter into nature and always sort your waste properly. Recycling containers are available throughout the resort!
- During your walks, keep your dog on a leash: it could disturb or chase wildlife.
