Saint François Longchamp

A pleasant walk through undergrowth, along the banks of the Bugeon torrent. At the end of the walk, you can enjoy the view of the Cheminées des Fées, a rare natural erosion phenomenon.

LE SENTIER DES PAQUIERS
Departure point : Station centre in front of the Tourist Office.

On leaving the Tourist Office, go to Place de la Madeleine. Go down the
stairs of the Odalys Bellevue residence, walk along the building on the right, the start
at the back, below the building. Follow the path downhill, then
at the intersection, turn left downhill (follow St François par
Les Paquiers) to reach Cime Parc. Continue along the path until you reach
the Cheminées des Fées area, which offers an incredible view of this natural erosion phenomenon.

Options for the return journey: take the skibus (Edelweiss stop) to the resort centre
resort centre at 1650m or climb back up the Chemin de 1450 (trail no. 4).

Difficulty: Medium. (Path can be slippery).

Advice: Bring snowshoes if the snow is fresh and crampons in case of icy conditions.
