How about a moonlit snowshoe hike at night?
Le mardi 3 mars 2026, On Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026, the Tourist Office, the mountain guides, and the ski patrol rescue team invite you to take part in the Taimoninche.
On the program?
A nighttime snowshoe hike between the resort of Saint-François-Longchamp and the village of Montaimont. A great opportunity to discover the mountains from a different perspective and enjoy the guides’ explanations to learn more.
After the effort, the comfort!
Upon your arrival in Montaimont, you will enjoy a delicious Savoyard meal! Finally, the return trip will be by shuttle back to Saint François Longchamp.
Meet at 4:30 PM in front of the Saint François Longchamp Tourist Office (4:00 PM in front of the former Auberge du Grand Coin for those departing from Montaimont)
Prices and registration
€20 | Guided snowshoe hike + Savoyard meal + return shuttle transport.
Adults and children aged 10 and over can take part. Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes.
Where can you rent snowshoes in Saint François Longchamp?
The resort’s sports shops offer snowshoe rentals. In Montaimont, you can go to the Bonvillard Nordic Center.
