The 22nd edition of “La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin”, Europe’s annual sled dog event, will take place from January 10 to 22 in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region. It marks a new chapter for the race.

This life-size adventure brings together sled dog enthusiasts every year. Next January, 65 international mushers and their 600 elite canine athletes will set off for 13 days of racing, 11 stages, 400 km, and 10,000 meters of positive elevation gain.

Since 2005, the race has crossed more than fifty villages, towns, and resorts in the departments of Haute-Savoie, Savoie, and Isère, at the heart of the beautiful landscapes of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region.
