“La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin” – Stage 8: Saint François Longchamp – Valmorel-Doucy

The 22nd edition of La Grande Odyssée Royal Canin, Europe's annual sled dog event, will take place from January 10 to 22 in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It marks a new direction for the race.



Every year, this life-size adventure brings together sled dog enthusiasts. Next January, 65 international mushers and their 600 high-performance dogs will set off on a 13-day race covering 11 stages, 400 km, and 10,000 meters of elevation gain.

Since 2005, the race has passed through more than fifty villages, towns, and resorts in the departments of Haute Savoie, Savoie, and Isère, in the heart of the beautiful landscapes of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
