VAE route – Notre Dame du Cruet
Saint François Longchamp
Difficult route (long with steep drop) combining breathtaking views and passages in the woods.
Leaving from the tourist office, take the path of
inverses. At 1450m, descend via the RD213 and take
the track on the right upstream of the hamlet of Epalud. Get off the
track to Les Covatières, then turn right and cross the
Bugeon. You will arrive next to the Microcentrale des Demoiselles
and du Bugeon, then descend to Notre Dame du Cruet.
At the stop sign: either go up on the right by the road to Montgellafrey,
either continue for 900m and turn left to take the
RD213 towards Saint François Longchamp.
