The Col loop (15)

From the Chaussy reception center, opposite the welcome sign, turn left, the route gradually descends, following the cross-country trail on the left. Then follow the road for about fifty meters then turn right onto the path that goes down to Montpascal. Pass under the drinking water catchment reservoir then take the path to the left which leads to the first houses. Turn right and walk near the wash house. The route passes behind the houses, then turn right and climb into the meadow to reach the power line pylon. From there, turn right and climb under the line to arrive near the Le Replat cross-country ski trail.
The route continues along the cross-country ski trail a little further. When you reach the crossroads of Chemin du Chalet du Mélèze, turn right and go down to reach Col du Chaussy.
