Circuit VAE – The Lac du Loup by Saint François Longchamp and Montaimont

Difficult route. From Saint François Longchamp center station to the delegated commune of Montaimont at Lac du Loup.
Going by the summer route: From 1650m, follow the farms road to the
summit chairlift «Marquis». Continue on the summer road towards Montaimont
(only path possible). Pass next to Chapelle Saint Marguerite and Lac du Loup (the road is paved). You arrive at the hamlet Bonvillard. Then, take the road that goes to Montaimont, and go back to Saint-François Longchamp by the departemental road (D213). Way back possible by the same route you
took to go down to the Lac du Loup.
