Montaimont : Espace Nordique du Grand Coin : 40 km of cross-country skiing trails and showshoe circuits.
In this agricultural environment surrounded by a number of villages Montaimont has diversified its original activity by offering cross-country ski trails and tracks leaving on foot from the "Grand Coin" and up to the plateau at the Col du Chaussy pass. The trails start from the village of Bonvillard. The foyer de ski de fond sells day, week and season passes, and hires out equipment. Picnic room available. Snowshoe circuits will help you to discover the magnificient countryside.
In Bonvillard it is also possible to snowshoe on a circuit that leads to the lac du Loup lake.

Location
Access by road : A43 freeway, exit n°26 "La Chambre" (Special equipment is mandatory and to be used in case of snow in winter). Take the direction of Saint François Longchamp by the RD213, then turn right on the way up to Montaimont by the D99.
Access by train (11km from the resort) : "Saint-Avre / La Chambre" station.
Airport access : Lyon St-Exupéry (163km), Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc (85km), Grenoble (153km), Geneva (165km).
