New ways of enjoying your ski day!

Published on 11/03/2020

New in Saint François Longchamp: a cross-country skiing track, open to everyone, freely and easily accessed.

The perfect spot to (re)try this kind of skiing, and enjoy the uphill, to admire our awesome landscapes.

Starting point at Plan Mollaret, this marked track is 3.5km long, with 350m elevation.

Finish line? THE mythical Col de la Madeleine!

Without crossing the alpine ski area, this newness is accessible for beginners and strolls near beautiful typical chalets.

The occasion to train yourself for the Vertical Challenge (friendly races organised by the local association Team SFL), without any risk.

Ski rental shops have available equipment and staffs can advice you the best way of practising.

No more excuses, it’s time to have a go uphill!

Bonus after effort? Two restaurants at the top of the Col de la Madeleine (La Banquise et Les 2 Mazots) where you will enjoy relaxation, and local food!

Because in Saint François Longchamp we love living slowly, having a whale of a time on the slopes, enjoying mountains surrounding us, Labell’Aire du Marquis becomes “La Terrasse”.

La Terrasse you said? A relaxation area on the ski slopes, with the famous Aiguilles d’Arves and Belledonnes mountains as scenery, zen zone to chill out, and tan!

A takeaway selling point will be opened, with the opportunity of buying food to grilled on the free access BBQ.

Unique concept, this environmentally responsible area will offer you different atmospheres all winter long (wellness, cuisine or culture).
Stay tuned, more information to come.

Access by ski (blue slope – returns to snow fronts via a blue, red or black slope).

We cannot to see you enjoying these innovations!
