WALKING TRAIL MAP 2009 :
To make the most of our walking trails and mountain biking tracks buy our map on sale at the Office de Tourisme and in the resort shops, cost 2€.
NEW : LIAISON VALMORELVIA FRENE CHAIRLIFT.
Every Wednesday the chairlifts of the Grand Domaine are open for mountain bikes. A marked trail has been set out between Valmorel and Saint François Longchamp. This superb trail will enable to discover the Grand Domaine in the summer and enjoy the magnificient views.

The road between Montgellafrey and Saint-François Longchamp is currently OPEN.
The road to he Col de la Madeleine is currently OPEN..
PLEASE NOTE,
the event "La Madeleine sans voiture" will take place on Friday 21st August 2009, and the road up to the col de la Madeleine will be closed from Saint-François Longchamp 1650m Maurienne side up to Celliers-Dessus Tarentaise side from 8 am to 12pm.
